WINE, WATER, BEER AND SCHNAPPS

Even though Sweden doesn't produce grapes for the fantastic drink we call wine, here at Wasa Allé we made a conscious decision to try to work with vinyards which grow only organic or biodynamic crops.

Completely natural!
In this day and age when our enviroment around us is beginning to feel the wear and tear of our carelessness we believe it's only natural to offer our guests organic wines. As we are unsuccesssful in growning grapes in Sweden we believe it is important to offer organic wines when we can. Our goal is to offer organic wines which are responsibly transported for our wine loving guests.

What is organic viticulture?
The primary objective for organic viticulture is to promote the soils fertility and to create ideal conditions for the ground's long-term development. An organic wine-grower considers the vinyard as an organic entity, as long as it is possible for it to be self-sustaining with fertilization through a balance between the soil, crop-rotation and wild-life. It is this balance which is the key to organic viticulture. It is because of this balance that the use of insecticides and artificial fertilizers are absent. But organic farming is not just about embracing the lack of chemicals, it also about economizing with energy and the Earth's resources. Our organic wines on our wine list are marked with a star.

On the other hand we are one of the largest producers of beer and schnapps. We have a large and wonderful selection from both small and larger producers.

Water
We are one of the first in Sweden to install the watersystem 'Fresh'. With the use of coal-filters, our tap water is bottled with excellent results. Cleaner water, crisper taste together with the waters own characteristics which helps bring forth our wines natural flavours. And with no transportation, you can have a cleaner conscience!
